What we do
Driveways
Concrete or asphalt, laid on a proper base and finished to suit your house. Done once, done right. The driveway takes the weight, the weather and the daily wear — so we lay it on a proper base and finish it to suit the house. Concrete or asphalt, done once, done right.
In short
A driveway laid to carry the load.
Most driveway failures start underneath — a base that wasn't prepped, reinforcing that was skipped, joints that were never cut. We do the bit you can't see properly, then finish the bit you can see to suit the house. The result carries the weight, sheds the water, and still looks sharp decades from now.
Proper groundwork
Excavation, compaction and reinforcing done right, so the surface won't crack or sink under load.
A finish to suit
Exposed aggregate, coloured or plain concrete, or smooth asphalt — matched to the house and budget.
Drains and falls sorted
Levels and falls set so water runs off the way it should, not into your garage or across the path.
What we cover
Two ways to lay a driveway.

Concrete driveways
Exposed aggregate, coloured or plain-finish concrete, laid on a compacted base with the reinforcing and joints done right — the hard-wearing, good-looking Canterbury standard.

Asphalt driveways
A fast, cost-effective hot-mix surface laid over a solid base — smooth underfoot, quick to lay and easy to live on, ideal for longer runs and rural driveways.
Finishes & colours
Your driveway, your finish.
The finish sets the whole look of a driveway. These are the exposed-aggregate blends and coloured finishes we lay most across Christchurch — photographed from the real sample boards in our showroom, so on-screen colours are a guide, not an exact match. Pick any two below to compare them side by side, or go asphalt for a fast, smooth run.

Good to know.
Should I go concrete or asphalt?
Concrete lasts longer and offers more finishes; asphalt is quicker and cheaper up front and great for longer or rural runs. We'll talk you through the trade-offs for your site and budget.
How long before I can drive on a new concrete driveway?
You can usually walk on it within a day or two, but keep vehicles off for about a week while it cures to full strength. We'll give you exact timings on the day.
Do you remove the old driveway first?
Yes — we can break out and cart away the existing driveway, prep the base, and lay the new surface as one job, so you deal with one crew start to finish.
Will a new driveway crack?
Concrete moves, so control joints are cut to manage where it does. Done properly — right base, right reinforcing, right joints — you shouldn't see the random cracking that comes from a rushed job.
